With less than a month to go till the end of the 2023 session, legislators are hard at work finalizing their budget bills, which includes how to spend the $17+ billion surplus. The next weeks will be crucial for the arts and the CREATE Jobs bill if they are to be included in any final budget package. To make sure the arts have a seat in those discussions, your legislators need to hear from you today! Our goal is 1,000 letters and we can reach that goal when you take action today.

Contact your legislators and ask them to include funding for the CREATE Jobs bill with any budget agreement. The CREATE Jobs bill will give the arts an economic boost by helping arts organizations hire and retain staff and bring audiences back to Main street.
