Attend Your MN Caucus Tonight!
Tonight at 7 PM, Minnesotans across the state will gather in local community centers, schools, and libraries for their precinct caucuses. Minnesota Citizens for the Arts encourages you to take part, no matter your party, because caucuses are one of the first places where community priorities begin to take shape.
MCA’s work intersects with this moment because arts and culture policy doesn’t start at the Capitol. It starts much earlier, in conversations between neighbors about what matters: strong public education, vibrant downtowns, creative jobs, and communities where people feel seen, heard, and connected. Caucuses help surface those values and influence the leaders and platforms that carry them forward.
If you care about the arts, creativity, and the role they play in healthy communities, this is one way to make your voice part of the process. That might mean asking candidates where they stand on arts and cultural funding, or support for Minnesota’s creative workforce, or simply showing up to ensure arts and culture are part of the conversation.
Bring your questions. Bring your values. Bring a friend.
Your civic voice isn’t only expressed in November—it’s shaped in moments like these, together.
