Arts Advocacy Day is Tuesday, March 3, 2026 — and showing up early is how we win.
Every registration helps us schedule more meetings with lawmakers and make sure the arts have a powerful presence at the Capitol. The sooner you sign up, the stronger our voice will be.

Federal Update
The U.S. House of Representatives has passed the FY26 minibus appropriations package with overwhelming bipartisan support (397–28), securing $207 million each for the NEA and NEH with no cuts. This victory reflects the power of sustained advocacy, 18,000 messages, and countless meetings that held bipartisan support even amid another proposed zero-out from the President's budget. The bill now moves to the U.S. Senate, with a vote expected next week, and we are monitoring the final steps closely.
This funding delivers real impact nationwide, reaching every Congressional district and nearly 4,000 communities each year, including many rural and underserved areas. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who showed up, your calls, emails, and advocacy made this possible. This win proves what’s achievable when we organize together, and it sets a strong foundation as we continue working with Congress to build support and pursue meaningful increases for the NEA and NEH in FY27.
