We need your help more than ever this week. Specifically, Thursday at 10 am.
Can we count on you to show up and stand with us to show your support of arts across Minnesota?
The 2023 Legislative Session ends in just under two weeks and the arts need to make one final push at the Capitol to make sure the CREATE Jobs bill crosses the finish line. Capitol Leadership will be meeting again in the next few days to finish work on budget bills, and if we want the $190 million CREATE Jobs bill to be included in those final bills, legislative leaders need to hear from you. That is why we are scheduling a rally and press conference for the arts and the CREATE Jobs bill for: THURSDAY, MAY 11TH at 10 AM, on the west steps of the Minnesota Capitol. It will only take about 15-20 minutes and we’ll have coffee and donuts and performers and friends from all over the state and arts community. Wear your arts gear, costumes; bring your instruments, paintings; bring your friends, kids, families, staff, neighbors, friends!
It's GO TIME and our final shot at making noise and getting our bill heard by legislators! We need to show up for the arts!
Please sign up today and help us bring the noise!
Sincerely,
Sarah Fossen
