Three Ways You Can Make a Difference For The Arts In The Next Week
As MCA approaches the end of our fiscal year on June 30, there are still three important ways you can help strengthen arts advocacy in Minnesota and ensure the arts have a powerful voice heading into the 2026 election season and the 2027 legislative session.
1. Become A Member of MCA!

MCA is the only statewide organization dedicated exclusively to advocating for the arts at the Capitol and in Congress. Your membership helps ensure we can continue protecting arts funding, defending the Legacy Amendment, and building support among policymakers. If you're already a member, please consider making an additional contribution to help us finish the year strong.
2. Support the MCA PAC!

Public policy decisions are made by elected officials, and the MCA PAC helps ensure arts supporters have a voice in those conversations. Your contribution helps us engage candidates and legislators on the importance of arts funding, the Legacy Fund, and the economic and community impact of the arts across Minnesota.
3. Register for AFTA Arts Vote Webinar - TODAY
Register for Americans for the Arts and the Arts Action Fund's third installment of our free ArtsVote webinar series Today, June 25, 2026 @ 2:00pm. This webinar will explore how arts and culture organizations can help their communities prepare for Election Day through nonpartisan voter engagement and voter education efforts.
Participants will learn how 501(c)(3) nonprofits can encourage voter participation through nonpartisan voter engagement, strategies for helping voters create a plan to vote, and creative ways to share voter information through arts and culture programming.
The decisions made over the next two years will have lasting consequences for Minnesota's arts community. Thank you for standing with MCA and taking action before June 30.
