Arts Alert: Shuttered Venue Operator Grants Update from Americans for the Arts

Americans for the Arts Action Fund has been tracking the implementation of the Shuttered Venues Operator Grants (SVOG) and shared an update this week. This post provides new information on the Congressional fix being reviewed in the Senate version of the Reconciliation Bill for additional economic COVID relief which would enable SVOG applicants to also receive a second PPP loan. Americans for the Arts' guidance for groups that may be eligible for PPP and SVOG is to "wait until the Congressional Fix above is enacted into law in mid-March before you apply for a PPP. But remember, the last day to apply for a PPP is March 31, 2021."
