As interim director of MCA, it is my pleasure to work on behalf of you, our arts community, to secure funding from the 2021 Session of the Minnesota Legislature for the statewide system administered by the Minnesota State Arts Board and our 11 Regional Arts Councils.
Please join me on April 14 at 3 pm for a briefing from MCA’s lobbyist, Larry Redmond, on arts funding at the Minnesota Legislature, to learn how you can have an impact at the State Capitol on arts funding, and to receive an update on the search for MCA’s executive director.

Americans for the Arts (AFTA) National Arts Action Summit - April 5-9
AFTA, the national partner of MCA, hosts its annual Summit April 5-9 and is offering complimentary registration to those in need of it - you must request your free registration by April 2. These virtual sessions will give you a good grounding for our advocacy work in Congress and will prepare you for our virtual meetings with Minnesota's Congressional delegation the week of April 12-16.
Sign up for the Summit here.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Jennifer Halcrow
Interim Executive Director
