Your Voice Fuels the Arts. Membership Fuels the Movement.

This fall, Minnesota Citizens for the Arts traveled nearly 2,000 miles across the state—listening to how the arts are strengthening communities of every size. From Lanesboro to Crookston to Duluth, we heard how creativity brings people together, supports local economies, and helps shape the places Minnesotans call home.
Those stories—your community’s story—are why MCA exists.
For nearly 50 years, MCA has worked to make sure the arts are valued, funded, and protected in Minnesota. We bring community voices to the Capitol, defend public arts funding like the Legacy Fund, and help turn local stories into statewide impact. Because of this work, Minnesota is a national leader in public arts investment.
If you enjoy the arts in Minnesota—whether you attend performances, visit museums, support local organizations, or simply believe the arts make communities stronger—we invite you to join us.
When you become an MCA member, you help:
- Ensure the arts are heard at the Capitol
- Protect and strengthen state arts funding
- Amplify community voices from across Minnesota
- Build a vibrant, connected arts ecosystem for all
Membership is simple, affordable, and meaningful. Most importantly, it’s a way to stand up for the arts you love and the communities that depend on them.
We hope you’ll join MCA today and be part of the movement that keeps Minnesota’s arts strong.
