Peg Churchwell has over 30 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, communications and special events. She loves introducing arts, culture and social awareness events into local communities to promote personal well-being and community sustainability. She owns a graphic design and marketing firm called Lady Dog Design.
Peg is a firm believer that arts are a core part of community harmony and development. She recognizes that arts, culture and wellness programs and events are integrally tied to local economic development in rural Minnesota. She is a dedicated and frequent volunteer and contributor to her community and the arts. Peg is currently president of the board of directors for Camphill Village Minnesota. Previously, she was president of Five Wings Arts Council, board member for Alexandria Area Newcomers Club, board member for Long Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce, chair of the Long Prairie Tourism Commission, and congregational president and youth and family team chair at American Lutheran Church.
In her free time, Peg is a creator, traveler, dog lover, walker, gardener and recycler. She and her husband, Tim, are the parents of two grown daughters.
