Peg Churchwell has over 30 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, communications and special events. She loves introducing arts, culture and social awareness events into local communities to promote personal well-being and community sustainability. Presently, she is employed at CentraCare Health in Long Prairie where she focuses on promoting wellness through these types of events and programs within her diverse, local community.
Peg is a firm believer that arts are a core part of community harmony and development. Further, she views arts, culture and wellness programs and events as integrally tied to local economic development in rural Minnesota. As part of her commitment, Peg is a dedicated and frequent volunteer and contributor to her community and the arts. Peg is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary for Camphill Village Minnesota and a Long Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce board member. Previously, she was President of Five Wings Arts Council, Chair of the Long Prairie Tourism Commission, and congregational President and Chair of the Youth and Family Team at American Lutheran Church.
In her free time, Peg is a creator, traveler, dog lover, walker and recycler. She and her husband, Tim, are the parents of two grown daughters.
